Wed May 1, 2013

In reply to: socialjustice #34 ANYBODY that quotes how great things were with a 90% tax rate is purposely ignoring the reality that there were deductions and loopholes that have been removed, that reduced the actual tax rate down to near what it is today. That is why they created the 26% alte …

Mon Apr 15, 2013
Note that you post average percentages. So people with kids get tons of deductions for child credits, child care credits. So it goes back to the line of if you don't pay any taxes it sure feels fair to you. Just like I have said for 5 years now.

In reply to: Sensible Voter #9 You need to back off the partisianship, for every NRA there are Unions that own politicians. There is corruption on both sides. Union dues pay for a lot of lobbying with politicians. It is both sides.

Thu Apr 4, 2013
Oh please. Too many of the IRS auditors are people who don't know what they are doing. The last audit by the government of the IRS said that the IRS was wrong 46% of the time that people asked them for information. A simple google search will reveal that is an improvement from several ye …
Kerry follows Obama's 5 percent example, others haven't yet
Thu Apr 4, 2013
I would love to see how many people making snide remarks about Republicans following suit are actually following suit themselves? silence Yeah, that's what I thought, keep your money to yourself. Leave it to your leader to make a nice political gesture while the reality rings hollow.
